2010 Miami Dolphins Season Predictions

Since I'm in a writing mood today, here are my predictions for the upcoming season. You can post your own in the comments section, and Franki we got $100 on this ha ha.

Week 1 Sep 12th @ Buffalo: We haven't won in Buffalo since 2003 (the 08 game was in Toronto), but I see the Fins pulling out a win here becasue Buffalo isn't all that good and it will be Buffalo in September, not December. Win.

Week 2 Sep 19th @ Minnesota: Very tough game for the Fins to win, especially being early in the season. We are known for having slow starts, and it will be exploited by the Super Bowl Contending Vikings. I see this team as too complete all around for us to win, but you never know. Being in Minnesota doesn't help matters. Loss

Week 3 Sep 26th vs. NYJ: Ahh the game we all have circled on our calenders for so many reasons. Rex Ryan running his mouth, Sanchez vs. Henne, our new additions vs. their new additions, JT returning and this all on Sunday Night Football. All I have to say is, I hope we wear the orange jerseys. Win.

Week 4 Oct 4th vs. New England: The glitz and glamor of Monday Night Football in Miami. I believe we can squeak this one out since we are home and we beat them here last year with not as good a team, but Brady will be all good also. Regardless on our high from the Jet win we will win this one as well. Win.

Week 5:Bye

Week 6 Oct 17th @ Green Bay: This is going to be a very tough game, much like the Minnesota game. Greenbay has it all: great passing game, decent run game, great defense. This being in Lambeau only makes it that much harder. I see this being a very difficult game for the Fins, hopefully I'm wrong. Loss

Week 7 Oct 24th vs. Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh isn't going to be very good this year (sorry Al and Adam) especially now that the Bengals and Ravens have gotten better. I just don't see Rapelisberger...uhh I mean Roethlisberger being that effective and losing Santonio Holmes was a big blow to that offense. The defense is going to be stout as always, but I just don't see the offense matching the D like before. Win.

Week 8 Oct 31st @ Cincinnati: Yet another tough road game for the Fins. Cincinnati has all the makings for a team to go deep in the playoffs. I think it will be close, but the Bengals will win it. Loss.

Week 9 Nov 7th @ Baltimore: So many hard road games eh? Baltimore is my pick to make the Superbowl from the AFC, so basically I think Baltimore will win. They have had our number since we beat them for our only win back in 07. This game will me much closer than previous match-ups and will be exciting. Henne vs. Flacco, Marshall vs. Boldin. Fun game, bad result. Loss.

Week 10 Nov 14th vs. Tennessee: We almost beat them last year in Tenn so I think the Fins can beat them in Miami. The Dolphins will be looking to avenge a loss that they should of had last season. Win.

Week 11 Nov 18th vs. Chicago: A Thursday night game with horrible announcers from NFL Network...hopefully I will go to this one. Last time these teams met up back in 06 we romped 31-13 and Ronnie had a field day at Soldier Field. I think the Dolphins are the better team and playing at home helps. Win.

Week 12 Nov 28th @ Oakland: It's Oakland...need I say more? Win.

Week 13 Dec 5th vs. Cleveland: Thank God we aren't playing in Cleveland in December. Cleveland is in a rebuilding phase with Mike holmgren, we've been there, done that. Win.

Week 14 Dec 12th @ NYJ: Jets will be lusting for revenge and wanting to end Miami's 4 game win streak. At home in December the J-E-T-S will be to much on this day. Loss.

Week 15 Dec 19th vs. Buffalo: We will sweep the Bills like we did in 2008, mainly because they have no QB, Marshawn Lynch has black teeth, and Aaron Schobel looks like a fugitive. Win.

Week 16 Dec 26th vs. Detroit: Detroit has definitley become better and Calvin Johnson will pose some problems. I just think we are better and playing at home will benefit us greatly. Win.

Week 17 Jan 2nd @ New England: At this point both teams will probably be jockeying for position in the division. Simply put: New England in December=freezing. Loss.

Regular Season Prediction Record (10-6).
